The Do You Love Big Band
The Do You Love Big Band is my most recent project. This band performs entirely original compositions and arrangements with programatic performances, often inspired by narratives, evoking vivid imagery and deep emotion. Drawing from various sources of inspiration, the music blends elements of jazz, rock and story telling creating a very personal and unique sound. The band made its debut as part of the New School's 2019 Senior Recital Season. Click here to see a selection from their debut performance.
Setting Sail, my debut album Was released in July 2018!
The album consists almost entirely of original compositions inspired by a crew of Sailors who deserted their countries in search for a new life. With no particular destination in mind, they sought to find a land where they could live freely. However, the search for freedom quickly turned into violent Battles and these peaceful Sailors turned Pirates.

TRUTH & CONFESSIONS
Ben recently directed the music and conducted the pit orchestra for a new musical with the Standing Ovation Theatre Company at the Community Education Center in Philadelphia. Truth and Confessions is a new adaptation of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Ben was truly honored to have been chosen to be the one to bring this never-before heard musical to life with the wonderful community theatre actors in Philadelphia.
